ABOUT
Studio 45 is a coworking space located in the Mission-Bernal district of San Francisco, an historic area known for its ethnic diversity. I took the lead on designing the space and aimed to create a clubhouse for adults - a comfortable and unique community space to inspire and enable makers.
THE SPACE
Formerly an auto shop, the Studio is composed of focus, creation, and lounge areas. The focus areas are visually calm and composed of various solutions to accommodate different styles of working: personal phone booths, conference rooms, personal workstations, and large communal spaces. Creation areas are defined primarily by their abundance of tooling: a woodshop, 3D printing and electronics lab, CNC room.
